SCAM! This was awful, and I want to warn people away. I booked the master suite, advertised for four guests with a queen-bed bedroom, a living room with a sofa bed, a kitchen, and a sitting area. Instead, I got an extremely small, filthy room with only a bedroom and small bathroom. There was even a glass covered in lipstick marks. The “kitchen” turned out to be a dirty kitchenette shared with two other rooms. I contacted HOMY right away through its online-only chat, thinking I’d been put in the wrong room. It took several hours to hear back. They insisted it was the room I had booked, even after I sent screenshots and receipts showing what I’d reserved compared with what I received. They said the kitchen was shared, but wouldn’t address the missing seating area, sofa bed, or other promised amenities. When it was clear they wouldn’t provide the room I booked, I asked for a refund for my 15-day stay. They offered 30% off and said the room was “adequate” because I was traveling alone. I had to contact my credit card company, which investigated, found the booking fraudulent, and completed a chargeback. After I complained to management, they removed the master suite listing from their website. Terrible communication, a disgusting room, and a fraudulent listing. Do yourself a favor and never book with HOMY.
