Oliver

The team were polite and really nice, and check-in was the easiest ever. For my short stay, I had everything I needed in a great location: a comfy, clean bed, hot shower, and free water, coffee, and beer. Loved staying here.

The room was great, and I loved being able to check in by myself. The location was perfect, with everything within walking distance, so we could leave the car parked, a big advantage in Tel Aviv. Amazing experience, and I'll definitely come back.

The shared spaces and my room were kept very clean, and I got answers to my questions quickly. Still, I won't come back. The Oliver is some kind of mix between a vacation rental and a hotel, not really a hotel, and I felt it had been advertised misleadingly. I wanted a hotel room with the basic features in it. If I'd known I had to keep my food in a shared kitchen, I wouldn't have booked. Also, the room is way too small for three people, despite The Oliver claiming it can fit that many.

We spent two weeks in Israel, visiting Jerusalem, Tel-Aviv, and Haifa, and Oliver was the best accommodation of the trip. The rooms are large, the beds comfortable, and all the premises are clean. We had Double Room No. 5. WiFi worked strongly throughout the house. The interior is trendy and stylish, and the kitchen is well equipped, with free beer in the fridge, complimentary coffee, and several spices for cooking. There's also a washing machine and separate dryer in the common area, though you have to bring your own washing powder or capsules. The location is excellent: near the beach and Jaffa, within walking distance of HaHagana Railway station, and even closer to bus stops. Street parking is difficult because the street closes to cars in the evening. For fresh coffee and a croissant in the morning, Bread Station and Maison Kayser bakery are both two blocks from Oliver.
