Prima City Hotel

Right on the beach boardwalk in the heart of Tel Aviv, the hotel’s location is hard to beat. Our room was tidy, clean, and reasonably quiet, and the breakfast buffet was extensive, nutritious, and tasty, with a peaceful sea view. In the evening, the restaurant, Yassou’s, turns into a Greek tavern with lively music, dancing, and a youthful, energetic vibe.

I’ve stayed at Prima Hotel Tel Aviv several times, once with my kids and once without, so I’ve had a chance to get to know the place. It’s comfortable enough, though the rooms could use some improvement. I liked the Dead Sea "417" shampoo and body wash, and the lobby coffee machine is a nice touch. It has coffee, espresso, and tea until around 8:00 PM, if I remember right. The front desk team are warm, professional, and accommodating, especially Hila and Sa-He’er. Vitaly, the manager on duty, is also welcoming and happy to handle special requests. He made me a delicious veggie omelet. Say hello from me, he reads all the reviews. Breakfast is excellent, with lots of fresh vegetables, cheeses, baked breads, and more. If they’re serving stuffed grape leaves while you’re there, don’t miss them. The location is perfect, right in central Tel Aviv, steps from the boardwalk and the TLV beaches. There are great restaurants nearby, including Thai House, and it’s close to Dizengoff Street, Ben Yehuda, and more. For families, the rooms are on the small side. A family of five, and probably even four, will likely need two rooms. I think the Sea View rooms are nicer, so try asking for one. The hotel has an arrangement with the parking lot next door, but it isn’t always available. The parking attendant can be hit or miss and doesn’t always have the best attitude. Still, it’s a very good stay if you want to be near everything on the beach side of Tel Aviv, with great service, breakfast, and access to the city.

We stayed in December 2025 as two adults with two kids. The staff were lovely, and the location is 10/10, right beside the beach and an easy walk to anywhere we needed to go. The rooms, though, are very small and tired, and street noise is intense from around 5am until late at night. Tel Aviv is a lively city with lots of construction, and many hotels may be like this, but be prepared. Bring earplugs or stay somewhere else.

The room was clean and spacious, the view was perfect, and the lobby was really nice. The location is very good, just one minute from the beach. Excellent stay, with a great team that responded quickly. Thanks to Antonina, Hila, Sahel, Liraz, Bernard, Marvit, Agnes, and everyone on the team.
