R48 Hotel and Garden

I was looked after at reception, but I’ve never seen such a disgrace. My gold necklace was stolen from my room. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

The food, atmosphere, and service were all top notch from the moment we sat down. Highly recommend!

The food is original and very high quality, and the drinks selection is excellent. The rooms are luxurious and comfortable, with plenty of space, good cleanliness, and lots of thoughtful details. The building itself is magnificent, though you wouldn’t guess it from the street. Walk inside and it’s amazing. The rooftop pool is tiny, but wonderfully peaceful and distinctive, with a tasteful, high end feel. Even four to six people make it feel crowded, so it might make more sense as a private pool for the penthouse suite. We’ve stayed two nights, had dinner twice, and eaten breakfast around ten times. We travel often and usually stay at places like Six Senses or Mandarin Oriental, and we’ve missed having that level of hotel in our hometown of Tel Aviv. The service is great overall, though some staff are less consistent than others. I worry that over time the place might become more popularized and lose standards, pricing, or quality. With more staff training and tighter standards, it could become one of the best places to stay in the Middle East. After paying for stays here more than ten times without sparing any expense, I’d also appreciate a more personal follow-up and effort to keep returning guests. I love the place and wish it the best.

The staff are wonderful, and the food offering is exquisite. R48 has a spectacular design, with every detail feeling unique. During my two days there, I honestly felt at home, like it was a house for anyone who chooses to stay. It’s easily my favorite place in Tel Aviv. Thanks for such a great few days. I hope to come back soon.
