Sea N' Rent - 172 Dizengoff Tel Aviv

The room had a big double-pane window, which isn’t a given in TLV, plus a mini fridge, microwave, and TV. It was fairly clean, and self check-in was easy. The location puts you close to everything, with the beach about a 10-15 minute walk away. The entrance can smell smoky since it’s between two bars, though that stayed out of the room with the window shut. Wi-Fi could be better, but all in all it’s a good place.

We slept well even with music coming from the nearby bars almost every night. The noise does get through, and shutting the windows doesn’t block it. Otherwise, the room was spacious and clean, with a kitchenette apart from the bedroom. The spot between the city center and the beach is about as good as it gets.

There’s no round-the-clock reception, but it was easy to reach the manager, even though I didn’t meet him during my short stay. The WiFi was very strong, and the bathroom was spotless with towels and toiletries. My studio on the first floor (second floor by American counting) had a comfortable bed, furnished kitchenette, mini fridge, table for reading or eating, TV, and plenty of closet and shelf space. Two people fit comfortably. It’s a good-value place in central Tel Aviv, with lots of places to eat and drink just outside at 190 Dizengoff Street.

The windowless room feels a little like a bunker, though you know about the lack of windows when you book it. The location is great, with supermarkets and bus stops nearby, and the owner is very nice. There’s a well-equipped little kitchen with a kettle, fridge with a small freezer, hot plate, dishes, cutlery, and microwave. The bathroom had shampoo, shower gel, and towels, and the WiFi was very good. Just note that beach towels aren’t in the beach towel cupboard during winter.
