The bed was comfortable, the room was a good size, and the location near the flea market was fantastic. I’d stay again for those reasons, though the place is noisy and doesn’t seem suited to kids. The rooms look new and refurbished, but close up they feel somehow unfinished. Service was a bit strange: I called to ask about a microwave for warming baby food, got told there wasn’t one, then was told there was.

It was hard to find the hotel when I arrived, and there was no staff around. The room had dust, dirty mirrors, and about half the lights weren’t working. There was only a little toilet paper and no paper napkins. The shower leaked, so I had to wipe up the water with toilet paper. Towels weren’t changed, and there was nowhere to dry things after the rain. No umbrellas at reception, stale water in the coffee machine, either.

I had a wonderful weekend here and booked another room for my spouse, who lives in Italy, while checking out. I hope we’ll be able to come back this coming August. From the moment you open the entrance gate, there’s a lovely atmosphere, and a great scent follows you up the stairs. The hotel has an elegant simplicity, and you can see the care the owner put into every corner.

Such a lovely surprise to come across this hotel. The design is beautiful, it has that old Jaffa charm, and the location is great. I’d definitely like to return.
