Trieste Neve Tzedek Boutique Suites

The location is very good, though you have to be okay with big, noisy outdoor restaurants next door. The AC works, but it’s quite loud. As for the place itself, it’s neither a boutique hotel nor much of a hotel at all: poorly maintained, dirty, with plaster falling off, and nowhere near the photos, which must be from when it opened eight years ago. My room was cleaned one day and left with fresh towels, but not the next. The patio garden is neither a patio nor a garden, and the espresso machine might have been good eight years ago. I hate leaving such a negative review, but I also hate feeling stung.

We came from the UK and spent two nights in this unique, character-filled place. Our room was the largest in the hotel, making good use of the space and combining comfort with warm decor. The neighborhood is ideal for tourists who’d rather not spend their time in tourist spots. The owner went well beyond his job to make sure we had everything we needed and enjoyed our stay.

Right in the middle of Neve Tzedek, this boutique hotel makes a lovely base for seeing Tel Aviv, with plenty of places to explore nearby. The building has a special character, blending old and new, and our stay felt cozy.

The location was good, but I wouldn’t return. It didn’t feel like a boutique hotel, and cleanliness and upkeep were lacking. The hot water kept switching between hot and cold every couple of minutes. There was milk left in the fridge from previous guests, plus used makeup wipes by the sink.
