Tiberias Hostel

Kobi the manager was helpful and nice, and the common areas are really pleasant. Staying in a hostel in my own country but feeling like I was abroad was such a nice experience. The rooftop is great too. Recommended!

When I arrived, there were two small problems with my room, but the staff sorted them out quickly. I was also very impressed by how patient Tiberias Hostel was when Booking.com added an exorbitant charge after I used its site to add a night. The hostel gave me time to resolve it instead of insisting I pay the increased amount upfront, and I’m grateful they didn’t make things harder over a technical problem. Be careful with “changing dates” on Booking.com: it doesn’t show you the cost, and it bills you after getting the property’s approval, before asking you to confirm. Thank you!

The hostel building and location are great, but it’s the people and staff who make it special. Every stay here has been lovely. Check-in was easy and everything was clean. I recommend it 10/10. Thank you.

The hosts were very friendly and gave us useful information about things to do nearby. We stayed two nights, and the central location worked well, just a five-minute walk to the boulevard. Our room was nice, with AC, a good bed and a mini fridge, though we thought the bathroom could use an update. It was a little noisy outside the room, but it’s a hostel, so we couldn’t expect silence at night. Coffee and tea were available all day, which was nice. Breakfast was included, but pretty basic: some bread, a few spreads and vegetables. Enough for a quick start to the day.
