After a long day of work in Agra, I’d spent quite a while searching for a hotel near the station so I could leave early the next morning. I live in Delhi, and when I finally found this place, they showed me the rooms. I put my things in one, then went to reception to complete check-in. The receptionist saw that my ID listed Agra, my hometown, and said they couldn’t give a room to a local. He offered to let me stay if I paid 500 extra. I said I’d been living in Delhi for the past eight years, so how was I local? He rudely told me to leave. It was 11 at night and I was exhausted, so I didn’t want to look for another place. After we argued, the receptionist started using abusive language and sent a man to throw my belongings out of the room. I would’ve given zero stars if I could.

I had a bad experience with the staff, and the hotel charged far too much per person. The rooms weren’t very good or clean, and there was no geyser available in winter. Very poor service.

The location is good, and there’s underground parking and a party hall. But the hotel and rooms are average, in poor condition, and the hospitality was only average.

The soft beds are comfortable, and the staff have been very polite and helpful, but the services and facilities have made this a bad stay over nearly five days. The bathrooms smell of cigarette smoke, the AC in my room is set to 17 and its remote is missing, and the tap water tastes salty. If you have sensitive skin or a sensitive palate, try to avoid this place unless you really need to stay here. It is very close to the Taj Mahal, Agra Fort, and some other important monuments.
