The room was a little dark because the surrounding buildings were so close, and the view was somewhat restricted, but still okay. The windows only opened a little. On the plus side, the room was larger than standard, clean and nicely decorated, with a very quiet air conditioner. The bed and pillows were among the most comfortable I've had, and I slept well. Check-in was quick, the entrance was clean and well kept, and every staff member we met was polite and helpful. There's a small supermarket on the next street, and the hotel is roughly central. If I return to Agra, I'd seriously consider staying here again.

You can walk to pretty much anywhere you want to go in downtown Agra, and the location worked just as well for business or entertaining as for leisure. The front desk team were welcoming and receptive. We had a spacious, quiet, well-appointed room, lovely linens, a super comfortable bed and a terrific shower. I had a great night's sleep. The price was very reasonable compared with the hotels just up the street. Wish I could've stayed longer, and I'll be back.

We were delayed getting in, and the desk attendant was so friendly during check-in. She suggested several nearby restaurants that were open late and even offered to arrange delivery. The room was very clean and spacious by downtown Agra standards. I also liked the infused water station. It was refreshing after walking around all day. We had a fabulous stay at Riya Palace.

The suite was the nicest one we've ever stayed in. We'd booked a deluxe room, but got upgraded to a one-bedroom suite at check-in. It was huge, with a big foyer and living room that had a sitting area, desk, wet bar and large flat-screen TV. The decor was traditional and elegant rather than modern. The bedroom was at the back, so it stayed quiet at night, though there was no view from its window. The living room faced the street. The location was central for what we wanted to see on our short visit, and the doorman, bellman, front desk and concierge were all incredibly nice and helpful. The regular room rate seemed reasonable for Agra. We stayed at Riya Palace for just one night over Labor Day weekend, which felt far too short. Highly recommend!
