OYO 28053 Hotel Gayatri Palace

We loved the breakfast and the restaurant's beautiful ambience, it's the standout feature here. It's a clean place with prices that are easy on your pocket, and the crowd is quite sophisticated. A nice spot to hang out with friends or family, and families can stay and enjoy it too. I'd happily visit again.

The staff made us feel comfortable throughout our two nights at Hotel Gayatri Palace, and the South Indian food we asked for downstairs was surprisingly good. We were feeling unwell after travelling around India for over a week, so that meal was especially welcome. We didn't try anything else there, but recommend the restaurant. Our private double room had air conditioning and a hot shower. The hotel is simple, clean, and within walking distance of the Taj Mahal. We knew the location was close, but were still surprised to find we could see the Taj from the rooftop. I'd recommend Hotel Gayatri palace to anyone coming to Agra and the Taj Mahal.

The room was dirty and unhygienic, and the food tasted horrible. There was no parking, no extra bed for our third guest, and internet only worked at reception. They also charged us for water bottles. We had booked a room for three with breakfast included. At breakfast they confirmed it was included, but then added the charge to our bill at checkout. When I asked the receptionist about it, they yelled at me and were rude. The owner was abusive too.

We were a family tour group from Bangalore, Karnataka, with a few people from Telangana. We arrived at 6 in the evening on 10 February and booked six rooms with extra beds, meals, breakfast, and dinner. We stayed three nights. The location was convenient for getting to the Taj, and the reception staff were kind and helpful. Both the double and triple rooms were clean and good. Special thanks to the manager at the in-house Anjana Restaurant, who served us healthy meals and pleasant snacks all three days, especially the South Indian food. I'd rate the stay five out of five and would consider it again on my next trip. Keep up the good work!
