We arrived at 8 AM and stayed only 3-4 hours to freshen up. We never asked for or used an extra mattress. Even so, OYO later refused the refund, claiming that we had used one. I spoke to the property owner today, and he said OYO had never called him about that allegation. The hotel said it hadn’t received payment from OYO after a last-minute ownership change, so we were made to pay again. OYO support set up a conference call from my phone with their AGM and the hotel representative. The AGM clearly assured us the refund would be processed, and the refund status showed in their system. We paid again based on that assurance. This was extremely disappointing and felt like deliberate misrepresentation and an unfair trade practice. I’m extremely dissatisfied.

I’ve been to Agra often and stayed in plenty of hotels and homestays, but this was my worst experience. The room was in a pathetic, unhygienic state, with lots of bedbugs. My wife and I couldn’t sleep through the night, and we got skin infections from the bugs. The room amenities also caused problems, and they kept switching off the AC again and again. Staff seemed least bothered about the service and were very rude when we asked for anything. We got no towels and no water. I would never choose to stay here again. 👎👎👎
