Regenta Place Raaj Agra

The parking was badly managed, and I even got into an argument over it. Inside the room, the lights weren't working properly, the ceiling and AC ducts were dirty, and cleanliness was below standard. The WiFi, AC, and TV didn't work at all. I called reception and room service several times, but the problems were never fixed. A frustrating stay, and I wouldn't recommend the hotel unless its service and maintenance improve.

There was loud noise from the party venue next door until 1 am. We also had no hot water, and the room charging point didn't work. They couldn't fix it during our 5 days there or move us to another room. The hotel says it doesn't have mineral water, and drinking water was not available. They also don't allow outside food or drinks. I'd avoid staying here, especially with plenty of other options around.

The room was filthy, with dirty sheets and a bad smell in the bathroom. Things listed as available when booking were broken or missing, and even basic items had to be requested repeatedly without anyone sorting them out. Staff were rude and unhelpful from the start, complaints were ignored, and service was painfully slow. Management came across as careless and unprofessional. For what they charge, it was a waste of money. One of the worst stays I've had, and I wouldn't recommend this place.

I regret spending more than 10 k to stay here, and I should have read the reviews first. We booked because our experience with Re.gen.ta in Jaipur had been great, but this Agra property was a letdown. Dust was everywhere, the beds were disgusting, and every room seemed to have awful linen. I had to ask reception for clean sheets and pillows, even though the mattress and pillows were stained. There was no bisleri water or filter, and none of the phone outlets worked. Owners should come see how the staff are looking after their properties. Please do your research before booking.
