Inside, The Noor House feels like a peaceful retreat, especially in the courtyard, even though the surrounding area gets plenty of tourists. Its location on Taj Ganj / Taj East Gate Rd is quieter than the city center, and being inside the vehicle-restricted area means less traffic and car noise. This is a recently restored ancestral home, renovated in 2024 as a heritage homestay. The rooms are themed around Indian poets, with poetry and art throughout, plus restored furniture, local fabrics, and vintage touches that give the interiors a personal, artistic feel. It seems a lovely fit for anyone who values character, cleanliness, and staying close to the Taj Mahal in a calm boutique setting. I'd highly recommend The Noor House to visitors to Agra.

We spent four days here with the family and had a wonderful time. The open courtyard was lovely for evening tea, and you can stroll toward the Taj or even Yamuna ghat at night. Rooms were spotless, spacious, safe, and comfortable, with modern touches alongside traditional charm. The staff were warm and attentive, and the homemade breakfast was a great extra. It felt welcoming for both kids and solo travelers, with personal touches and heartfelt hospitality that made it feel like home. Noor is just minutes from the Taj Mahal, and I'd highly recommend it. It felt like more than a place to stay.

We had such a homely, wonderful stay at The Noor House. Dr. Imran and Dr. Priyangee looked after us so thoughtfully and even pointed us toward some lesser-known places around Agra.

The rooms were neat and clean, and the staff were attentive and good. Breakfast was included, hygienic, and very good. There's also a good library and games for guests and kids. The Taj Mahal is within walking distance from this homestay. Excellent service.
