It took me a few minutes to settle into the Diwan's Bungalow, but once the place sank in, I felt completely at home. I even ended up walking around barefoot for most of my stay. For a genuine heritage experience in Ahmedabad, the 190-year-old home managed by Justa is hard to beat. I loved its history, colonial construction, old way of life, and overall atmosphere. The dining room is glamorous and classy, and the open-air balcony has been turned into a dining area beside a private garden. It all feels exotic. The food was very good, tasty, and made fresh. The team under General Manager in Charge Mr.Anthony was happy to customise it, and he is hands-on and keen to make sure guests have a great time. His hotel background shows in how he leads the Justa experience. The front-line staff were simple and sincere, and happy to help however they could. The accommodation was well appointed and maintained, though it's hard to keep a 190-year-old building feeling completely fresh, so expectations need some adjustment. If you want a proper classy hotel, this isn't the place. But if you're after a real heritage stay, with pictures and writings that give a sense of the former Diwan and his family, this is the place in Ahemdabad, India's first heritage city. The receptionist Mahindra was kind, courteous, and ready to help with a smile. I felt welcome in a natural way throughout my stay. Justa Diwans Bungalows is a charming heritage-style property that suits Ahmedabad well, with tasteful decor and a building full of character that remains comfortable and well maintained. I hadn't expected a suite when I booked, but that's what I got: a spacious room with a separate living area, comfortable bedroom, very nice bathroom, and a large balcony. The decor fit the heritage feel beautifully, and the stay was very enjoyable.

The peace inside Diwan’s Bungalow by jüSTa Hotels & Resorts is striking, even though the property sits in the middle of busy Ahmedabad. Once inside, the city's noise gives way to calm and a sense of nostalgia. This is a lovely, intimate way to experience Ahmedabad's heritage and culture. My suite had antique furniture, high ceilings, and detailed architecture that gave it an old royal feel, with modern comforts in place. The bungalow has 8 distinct heritage suites, restored and decorated to reflect the history and culture of the past. From check-in through checkout, the staff were genuinely warm and personal, making me feel at home. Dalan also deserves praise. The food was fresh, homely, and full of authentic flavors. Whether it was a hearty Gujarati thali or simple comfort food, each meal was served with care and felt more like eating in a traditional home than in a hotel. I'd recommend the bungalow to anyone after an authentic, soulful stay in a beautifully preserved place. It offers a real slice of history along with heartfelt hospitality.

The location is very good if you want to stay near the old city, and Mr. Ashok gave us a late-night tour. He's charming and knows a lot. If you're looking for a traditional heritage bungalow, you'll have a great time here. Highly recommended.
