For one night near Gurukul Road in Ahmedabad, Hotel Heritage worked well for the three of us. We'd looked at several places and found it quite affordable, with decent service. The room was comfortable, the staff cooperative, and the short stay was satisfactory. A reasonable budget choice in the area.

The room was disgusting as soon as I walked in, and the stay was horrible. I booked the Heritage Hotel in Ahmedabad through Agoda. Don't stay here at any cost. Bugs and cockroaches were all over the room and bathroom. The TV barely worked, the pillowcase had a food stain, and the bed cover and linens smelled bad. The geyser was almost always out of order. Reception had to switch it on, and I still couldn't get hot water when I needed it, especially in the morning. The phone didn't work either, so I couldn't contact reception. All the posted reviews are fake.

There are plenty of nearby places to eat, including restaurants, street food, ice cream shops, and chai shops. Hospitals and coaching centres are close by too, making it easy to stay here. Best hotel, best service and staff, nice stay.

The room was unhygienic, the bedsheets hadn't been cleaned, and the washroom smelled bad. The AC worked fine, though, and the staff were good.
