Hotel O Signature

My room was dingy and poorly kept, and the lights kept flickering. There was visible damage to the ceiling that made me question the place’s safety. The TV didn’t work, and the air conditioning was out of order, so the room was uncomfortably warm. I expected better for what I paid. The staff were unfriendly from the start. They seemed annoyed by requests and brushed off my concerns instead of helping. The manager, Jitendar, was especially rude, one of the worst people I’ve met while traveling, and he took a lot of money from me. The facilities were either broken or missing, and after a long day I couldn’t even relax with the television. I regret not finding somewhere else to stay. This was a nightmare, and I’d tell anyone looking for a comfortable stay to avoid this place.

The rooms and bedsheets were very dirty, and I had a terrible experience. This isn’t a good place for families. They take Oyo bookings just to attract customers, then when you arrive they raise the price and ask you to cancel the Oyo booking so you can pay more offline.

After a 30-hour train journey from Visakhapatnam to Ahmedabad, I reached around 4 am, took an Ola taxi, and got there around 5. I waited outside for about 20 minutes. The entrance was locked and the calling bell didn’t work. The gate only opened when someone happened to be leaving. The person at reception wouldn’t honor my online booking and asked for a higher price. The owner changed and said they wouldn’t give us a room at the online price, then shut the gate and left. I was shocked, especially by around 6 am after that long trip. I booked another Ola and found a different hotel. Be careful about booking here. I booked this for my parents because it’s near my hostel, and the listed facilities sounded like what they needed. I’d paid in advance, so they couldn’t switch hotels. The owner said, "600 rupe me itna hi aata he," and the room they got was non-AC even though I paid for an AC room. This felt more like a dharmashala than even a one-star hotel. The staff were rude. There was no hot water, the AC and flush didn’t work, the lights in the room wouldn’t switch off, and there was no bathroom light. They were given one bucket of water to bathe with. There were lots of mosquitoes, and my parents found white insects in the bed. They were bitten all night and couldn’t sleep. Please be careful if you’re booking for family.
