Ibiza Hotel

From outside the hotel, you get a mesmerizing view, and the rooms are on the 4th and 5th floors. The interiors are done really well. It’s a pleasant place to stay in Ahmedabad, in a great part of Gota that this hotel seems to brighten up. It’s also a little close to Gandhinagar. I’ll definitely stay here again if I come back to Ahmedabad.

Absolutely awful. The room service was bad, and the room ambience wasn’t good either. The washroom wasn’t hygienic. The rooms are all different colours, and the patchwork hasn’t been done.

There’s a serious privacy problem: even when you explicitly refuse room service, staff enter your room while you’re away. That’s completely unacceptable and raises security concerns. Also, food ordered through a delivery app can’t be brought to your room. You have to walk to the building’s main entrance to collect it, which is a hassle at night or in bad weather. I stayed at Hotel Ibiza, inside a sports complex, and found the experience disappointing. The rooms are old and poorly maintained, and a noticeable smell from the washrooms made the stay uncomfortable. Breakfast is served at the hotel restaurant on the ground floor, but the choice is extremely limited, just two items besides bread and butter, and the variety and quality are lacking. The stay wasn’t comfortable or guest-friendly. Unless they make major improvements, I wouldn’t recommend it.

I stayed for three days on a business trip two days ago. The room wasn’t at all like it appeared in the hotel listing. I was out working during the day and left my luggage there overnight, then discovered that my AirPods buds were missing. I’m 110% confident I’d left everything there, but it’s hard to believe what happened. It’s the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. There was no breakfast or dining place, and the basic service was awful. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone coming for work, business or sightseeing, even by mistake.
