The hotel is down an alley, but Google Maps puts it on the main road, which can confuse tourists and cause a lot of unnecessary hassle. I spent nearly 30 minutes at reception asking for my pre-booked room. The hotel was empty, yet they weren’t ready for my arrival. The place badly needs basic hygiene and plumbing work. Every room I was shown had some issue: water dripping onto the floor, a broken commode, a flush that didn’t work, or a stained, smelly pan like a public toilet. The floor was dirty, the furniture and sofa were stained and dusty, and the sheets and pillow covers smelled as if the hotel had been shut for a while. Only two staff members were running the whole place. There’s no restaurant, so bring food if you’ll arrive late at night. It’s livable, I suppose, but I wouldn’t recommend staying longer than a day.
