Gypsie's Hideout, Alibaug

The food was amazing throughout our two nights and three days. We had three meals a day, plus evening tea and snacks, and each meal was different and delicious. We booked for a family event and had a memorable time. The hall was spacious, clean, and beautiful, with lush greenery around it. The place was well maintained, and there was enough outdoor space for small parties or events.

A welcome oasis in the dry, parched summer surroundings. This was our fourth visit in the last three years, with both parents and children, and we had a wonderful time. The food has improved a lot since our first stay. We’re fans of hidden village and are going again.

They charged us 50K for two nights, and the villa’s hygiene, service, and overall condition were nowhere near worth it. The place was dirty, with spider webs and dead insects around, and the bedsheets weren’t clean. Basic amenities were missing and only brought after we asked several times. The kitchen was mostly non-operational. There were only two people managing, cooking, and cleaning, so the service and hospitality suffered. The decor was gross, with furniture and other stuff dumped around like it was a storeroom rather than a holiday home. This place is a catfish, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. Beware of fake reviews. Management even offered us a refund if we took our reviews down. A big no for me. Skip it, guys!

We came for a friend’s bachelorette party with two infants, and found spider webs, a dead cockroach, and other insects around. It wasn’t hygienic for anyone, and the bedsheets weren’t clean either. The villa was extremely dirty and poorly managed, and needs more people to look after and clean its unstructured layout. After paying 50k, we still weren’t given basic amenities. I’d expect a tissue box on the dining table, but even that was missing. It wasn’t worth the money.
