We ended up here for the weekend because we didn't have another option, and the room conditions were awful. The power kept going on and off all night, the AC couldn't be serviced, and the fan didn't work, so we couldn't sleep. Water was cut off, leaving us without any to use the bathroom or brush our teeth in the morning. The jet spray didn't work either. There were bugs on the bed, a leaking sink tap, dirty pillows, a bad bathroom, and no shampoo, soap, or other toiletries. The door wasn't soundproof, and its lock didn't work properly. For 2500 rupees a night, it was absolutely not worth it. Surviving even one night was a remarkable challenge. The owner was the worst part. She was rude from our first call and insisted we book with her over WhatsApp instead of Agoda for 2500. When technical issues stopped us from doing that, she cursed at us, saying, “aapko whatsapp chalana nai aata kya”. Is that how civilized people talk? Later, a worker called her about an enquiry with the phone on speaker. We heard her say, “inko phasa, aasani se room mat de, naatak kar ki room nai de sakte aur extra paise le”. We got angry, though somehow the employee managed the situation. In the edit to their response, they said we weren't paying the extra amount for a guest. But on the call, the owner quoted 2500 after we mentioned a couple, and that's exactly what we paid through Agoda. So it wasn't valid, and it sounded like they wanted to “naatak and get extra paise”, just as we'd heard on the call. If you're running a hotel and promise an air-conditioned room, why not have a functioning generator that provides full supply? Instead of making excuses, they should focus on running the hotel properly and treating guests well. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. It doesn't deserve anyone's business.
