We had a nice experience at hotel mandiram. The facilities were awesome, the staff were so good, and the hotel is in a prime location. Everyone behaved well.

Be aware, this room felt like one that should cost 500 or 700, but they charge 1500 to 2000. The bedroom condition was third class, and there were rats in every room. We experienced them ourselves: one even ran over the bed while we were sleeping. We changed rooms twice and still heard rats.

The receptionist acted like a salesperson, first quoting a high price and then coming down, so you have to negotiate. The rooms were tiny, and the bathroom felt suffocating because it had no ventilation. The exhaust fans seemed to be there just for show and didn't work. I'd only consider these rooms at ₹1500 including GST. When we asked for plates, they handed us one that hadn't been washed. Disgusting.

We booked two rooms through Agoda on 19/02/25 for 24-25 Feb 25, booking voucher No. 4711037226. The hotel confirmed the reservation when we spoke with them that day. When we called today to reconfirm, they simply refused the booking. They rudely said Agoda and other sites were bogus and told us to talk to them when we tried to explain. It felt like the hotel had refused us to earn more money. Pathetic, unethical, and immoral.

They charge 1600 for a basic room, but there's no hot water and the service isn't proper. It's not in a prime location, so it's not worth it at all.
