It’s right on Mall Road, and the room was a reasonable size. The beds were excellent, the TV worked, and parking was available. There’s a geyser, but no AC or hot water kettle; the phone didn’t work and there was nowhere to charge a mobile. The towel smelled, and the food wasn’t good. An average hotel that looks nice from outside, but the staff didn’t seem willing to fix problems.

We really enjoyed our stay. The rooms were great, and the staff were lovely to deal with. It’s also in a really good location in Almora, definitely somewhere I’d visit again.

The restaurant served fresh food on time at affordable prices, and parking was available. We stayed at Hotel Himsagar in May, 2025, and especially liked the excellent rooftop rooms and the ones with windows facing the hills. Service was excellent throughout, particularly from Mr Joshi, the manager. The hotel is on Mall Road near the Almora market area.

We booked for 2700 and stayed two days. The room and bathroom were spacious, and both were nice and clean. Food was good quality and affordable, too. The reception staff were really polite and humble, and the service was great. They were happy to help when we asked. Free parking was another plus. Had a great time here 💖
