Chokhiwadi Forest Retreat

Chef Ravi’s food was one of the most memorable parts of our stay. Much of what we ate had been grown right there, with freshly picked vegetables, herbs, and other ingredients that still smelled of the earth. The whole retreat invites you to slow down, listen to nature, and reconnect with a quieter part of yourself. If stillness, an earthy feel, and the wild appeal to you, this is a special place.

The views of the Aravallis were breathtaking, and our clean, peaceful Luxury Tents were tucked among gardens, a lovely setup for young kids. With so many trees, birds, and safe spaces, our children could explore freely. Meals were fresh and mostly organic, and the staff made us feel at home by helping with every little request. We wanted a quiet long weekend outside Jaipur, and Chokhiwadi Forest Retreat turned out to be a wonderful choice. The hospitality was genuine, and owner Varun Sahgal was an amazing host. He took care of even our smallest requests, served great food, and spent time star gazing with us. We had a great time. Thank you, Varun. The place is truly awesome!

Morning tea outside our tent rooms in the soft sunshine, good meals throughout the day, and long chats over evening snacks set the pace for a wonderful stay. We ended the nights with a cozy bonfire beneath the stars, singing from the heart. The resort owners and staff, Jabbo, Shakti, Vishan baby, and Suman, looked after us with such warmth and care. My husband and I spent two lovely nights at Chokhiwadi Forest Retreat with three close couple friends. The greenery and peaceful surroundings made it a refreshing break from Delhi’s hectic life. The trek was a lot of fun and added to the experience. Ambika, Himani, and Varun planned and managed every activity thoughtfully, so the whole thing went smoothly. Evenings around the bonfire brought laughter, music, singing, and dancing, and gave us memories we’ll hold on to. Our little elves camp at Chokiwadi was unforgettable. The Aravalli hills greeted us with a peaceful setting far from city noise, and at night the sky filled with countless stars, a rare sight in everyday life.
