Hotel Regency

The place didn’t feel welcoming or supportive, especially for someone traveling alone, and management showed little accountability when concerns came up. Basic requests were delayed or ignored, giving the impression that staff wanted to avoid customers. At Hotel Regency, the hospitality fell well below expectations, with too little professionalism or responsibility. Based on my experience, I wouldn’t recommend it to solo travelers looking for reliable service.

At least it’s close to the railway station, and the staff were friendly, though dull. The check-in was badly handled for our pre-booked group of 7 super senior citizens. At 11:30 pm they asked us for address proofs and even marriage certificates, and getting rooms took 30-45 mins. We found small, dusty rooms with no ventilation; towels, soaps, and water bottles only came after we asked. There wasn’t even parking for cars. It’s understaffed and not ready for groups. Not recommended for families or groups.

The hotel is far from the NAVI railway station, and the rooms don’t have enough amenities. The online photos on google are misleading and don’t match what you get in person. If you book through clear trip or goibibo, they’ll give you a smaller room. Lesser money means a smaller room.

The staff were fantastic, very nice, helpful, and coordinated well, so 5 stars for them. The room was in very poor condition, just 1 star. The AC didn’t work, mosquitoes were everywhere, the ceiling (POP) was broken, and all the bathroom taps kept dripping.
