The worst part was a heavy sliding glass door, around 50 kg, falling on my sister-in-law and fracturing her collarbone. That points to unsafe infrastructure and poor room maintenance. The hotel took no responsibility or showed concern: staff blamed us for breaking their glass, offered no apology, compensation, or support, and threatened to throw us out. Completely unacceptable. We were also refused early check-in and had to pay extra for it, despite the morning receptionist’s extremely rude and unprofessional attitude. This hotel lacks basic safety standards, accountability, and humane guest care. Don’t trust the 4-star rating; it doesn’t deserve even 1 star. It felt unsafe and poorly managed, with rude, untrained staff. I strongly advise people to avoid it and choose somewhere that respects guest safety.

The room had broken doors, no toiletries, poorly maintained fixtures, and none of the basic hospitality standards I expect. At Greenwood Villa, a sliding balcony door fell on a family member’s shoulder and injured her. That’s no exaggeration or minor inconvenience; it’s a terrifying hazard in a guest room. If it had fallen on a child, the injury could have been serious or fatal. When we reported it, reception staff were rude, arrogant, and dismissive. There was no concern, apology, or urgency, just attitude. It felt like guest safety meant nothing to them. This was one of the worst and most unsafe hotel stays I’ve had anywhere. This is a management failure and a complete lack of accountability, not a budget issue. The place shouldn’t operate until it has a full safety audit. It’s unsafe for families, solo travellers, and anyone expecting basic professionalism. I strongly urge travellers to stay away. There are plenty of options in Amritsar, and this shouldn’t be one of them.

The rooms were dirty, the showers swung between scalding and freezing and sprayed water everywhere, and the service was terrible and unprofessional. We were staying for a wedding and nobody mentioned that breakfast was included, so we missed it every day until they called us out of nowhere on our last day. The staff were rude too. I’d give this place zero stars if I could.

I was in the area for a wedding and booked a room here. The reception experience was disappointing, including my interactions with the operations manager, Mr. Harpreet. I didn't find the staff very professional, and after this stay I’d be reluctant to recommend the hotel to others coming for a similar event.
