There were frequent power cuts lasting 2-3 hours, and the hotel had no generator backup, so it was completely dark with no lights. Even if the outages weren't entirely the hotel's fault, that left us without any backup. The enquiry desk man with the moustache was extremely rude, arrogant, and unhelpful. The rooms were tiny, the washrooms worse, and there were no basic amenities. Cockroaches were crawling in the cupboards and even on the bed, and the bedsheets were dirty and covered in hair. There was a TV, but no connection made it useless. Honestly, you'd be better off sleeping on the streets of Amritsar than booking here.

The owner was super friendly, the service was good, and the rooms were neat and clean. It's also very close to the Golden temple.

It's a budget hotel with rooms under 1000rs near darbar sahib, and the food is decent. But the rooms are very dirty, and the service is awful. They took over an hour to process one order even though we were the only guests there. I wonder what it'd be like when the hotel is fully booked.

We had a lot of fun and got a clean, spacious family room. The owners were cheerful and responsible, and they seemed like great people blessed by baba. I'd recommend this hotel for how they treat guests, as well as for room availability and cleanliness.

Being able to walk to the Golden temple, Jallianwala bagh, and the partition museum was the hotel's biggest plus. We never needed other transport to visit those places, only for the trip to the Wagah border. I stayed with my family and we were comfortable. The hotel was very neat and clean, the hospitality was good, and they responded to calls and resolved things right away. Breakfast was tasty and healthy.
