Hotel Grand Cabbana by Levelup Hotels

We cut our two-night booking short and stayed only one night. There’s no WiFi, and the hotel didn’t feel like the four-star place it was advertised as. Noise from other guests continued around midnight, with no quiet hours in place, so a peaceful night wasn’t guaranteed. The room and bathroom were spacious, but both were extremely dirty. There were suspicious stains on the curtains, pillows, sheets, and walls. Staff did change the bedding when we asked. The bathroom had black mould around the sink and toilet, which could be harmful for people with allergies or compromised immune systems. It didn’t look as if the rooms were being thoroughly cleaned and sanitised between stays. Even the utensils weren’t clean, though the food itself was good, the one thing behind my single star. There was a problem with the receipt for our advance payment too. It had the wrong name and address, and they wouldn’t send a corrected one. The Google rating of 4.9 stars is definitely misleading. I wouldn’t stay here if cleanliness and a good night’s rest matter to you.
