The hotel is tucked inside a narrow lane that didn’t feel safe for families, and its real setting was quite different from the photos. I also wouldn’t rely on the high ratings: it seems food and drink discounts may be offered in exchange for positive reviews on platforms like Meta, which gives a misleading impression. Inside, the room felt neglected and dingy. The AC made such loud noise as soon as I turned it on that relaxing or sleeping was difficult. The mattress was hard, and I couldn’t get proper rest. Although Goibibo clearly promised a geyser when I booked, there wasn’t one. Basic upkeep was poor in the bathroom too: the commode leaked and the wash basin was broken. The fridge was switched off and had no wire connected. It only became usable after I insisted several times. I also had to give repeated instructions for basic amenity kits, and the staff still didn’t provide them. This was a frustrating, deeply disappointing stay. I wouldn’t recommend booking here.

There was no light in our room in the morning. When we reported it at reception, the staff answered rudely. The stay itself was decent, but the way we were treated means I wouldn’t recommend the place.

The food was amazing, and the staff were friendly. We stayed for three days, with sightseeing made easy because the Golden Temple, Durgiana Mandir, and Gobindgarh Fort are nearby. They provided good service. Thanks.

Mr. Sam and the staff welcomed me warmly, and the rooms were spotless with the amenities I needed. The restaurant and other hotel facilities were good, and the location made it easy to explore the city. What stood out most was Mr. Sam’s kindness and attention to detail. He gave personal recommendations, handled requests promptly, and clearly cared about guest satisfaction. His leadership keeps the hotel running smoothly and at a high standard. I’m grateful for his excellent hospitality and will definitely return to Hotel Royals Grand Galaxy.
