The location is the only thing that made this place worth going to. Everything else was awful. There was no water at night, the room was stinky, and basic items like soap and hand wash weren't available. Service was especially poor, and they even charged too much for a bottle of water.
The facilities were really bad, and this was my first trip, so the experience will stick with me. I was completely disappointed: what we got was the opposite of what the site described. I wouldn’t recommend going.
The room was filthy and the toilet wasn’t clean. There was no hand wash, bedsheet, or dustbin, and the fan, some switches, and a port weren’t working. At night the power went out with no backup, and the water supply kept failing, so I had to call reception and remind them. On my first visit to Amritsar, this was one of the worst hotels I’ve stayed in. The photos on the booking apps were completely different from the room I got, so think carefully before booking online.
