OYO 65999 G.s Hotel

The rooms were good, but we were given the wrong information about prices beforehand. We were told a room would be around 500/night. When we reached the actual manager at night, he said that wasn't true: one double bed room would be 1000, or 1600 for a room with two double beds. After negotiating, we got the two double bed room for 1000/night. I can say for sure that you should negotiate with them, and you'll get a better price.

The kid refused to let us check in when we reached the hotel, even though I'd confirmed the booking several times before arriving. Our train was due into Amritsar at 8am on 18th Aug 22, and I had booked this low budget hotel from the 17th to the 18th so we'd have a room to freshen up. I had also verbally confirmed that plan. This was very bad service from irresponsible kids. I wish someone more mature could have handled the hotel. Never book here.

They don't seem to have any discipline in how they handle customers, and locals are treated with care while outsiders get a different kind of treatment. The place is lacking all the basics. Even if you've already booked, you still have to pay nearly the same amount again. One of the worst experiences I've had.

Water, AC, and cleaning were all problems, and when the power went out they provided no alternative. You could get one issue resolved by putting a lot of pressure on them, then another problem would be waiting. This was a very bad stay at the worst hotel I've ever seen. Don't waste your money or try this place.
