Sawera Grand

The food was delicious, with plenty of variety, and service stayed smooth and well managed throughout. Staff were courteous, attentive, and ready to help with a smile. We felt comfortable and cared for, and the peaceful atmosphere added to the stay. Our time at Sawera Grand Plus was wonderful and memorable. The rooms were clean and spacious, the hotel had a pleasant ambiance, and everything seemed thoughtfully maintained for a relaxing visit. We felt welcome from the moment we arrived. Sawera Grand exceeded our expectations, and we’d happily recommend it to anyone looking for a pleasant, comfortable stay.

Cab services are available from the lobby, and the location makes it easy to get to places like the Golden Temple and Jallianwala Bagh. We spent two days at Sawera Grand, Amritsar. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with modern amenities, and the staff were courteous and helpful throughout. The food was delicious and the atmosphere warm and welcoming. A great option for a business or leisure visit to Amritsar, highly recommended.

The rooms and hotel ambiance were good, but the parking situation and the owner’s response left me furious. My new car got scratches on the front while entering the garage. An outsider, not hotel parking staff, guided me into the garage, where scooties were parked on both sides and hit the front side of my car. This happened at the very start of the visit and ruined my mood. The owner said, jokingly, “Jo park karwa raha tha wo to chala gya, ab jo scratch ho gya uska kya hi ho sakta hai,” as if it was fine to let a stranger direct guests’ cars. He came across as shameless. Staff said guests weren’t allowed to check the CCTV footage, claiming only hotel staff could view it, and said nothing had happened to my car on their end. The garage is very cramped, mostly full of scooties, and only one car can get in. If you still choose to stay, try parking on the roadside instead, if you’re lucky enough to find a spot on that busy, compact road. That was only part of the trouble. The fridge in my parents’ room didn’t work, and it took calling staff “thrice” before they replaced it. The push button on my washroom flush was broken. Room service fixed it after I called, but it came out again the next day.

The breakfast selection was limited, though what was offered was good. The rooms were clean and service was prompt. It’s a good hotel near the Golden Temple, with all the sightseeing places within walking distance. A wonderful experience.
