Madan, the guest house manager, gave me a very good price, which is the main reason for my positive review. The room was really nice for that rate, with an en suite bathroom and plenty of space. He even went out of his way to get the little restaurant going again, although I don’t think it runs at full steam in the off-season, so he could make me a delicious Western-style breakfast. It included sunny-side-up eggs, a style Indians don’t normally understand. He really made the effort and deserves this review. Madan, I said I’d write it, so if you see this, let me know if there’s another site you’d like me to post it on too.

We spent two days and two nights at the Tourist Guest House and had a pleasant, comfortable visit. The staff were helpful and polite throughout. I especially liked the open area, with its small seating spot surrounded by plants. It was beautiful and relaxing.

I stayed with friends and had an amazing time. The place was comfortable, clean, and well cared for, with great amenities and a luxurious feel despite the affordable price. Staff were friendly and helpful too. A good pick for travelers who want comfort on a budget. We’d definitely come back.

The hotel and its location were nice. The Golden Temple and Shastri market are within walking distance, and there’s food within walking distance too.

The spacious rooms have old furniture, but it gives the place a good vibe. If you like staying in a government circuit house, you’ll enjoy it here. Staff are good, and there’s parking and hot water, but no AC. Cleaning is the main issue. If the staff keep the place maintained, it could become the best property in the city.
