It's easy to get around from here, right in the heart of the city, with autos readily available and inexpensive. There are also plenty of medical shops and a hospital nearby. The place was clean and neat, and the front desk was welcoming. Breakfast tasted good and had a decent spread, with dosa and omelette available on request. For this price, it's a great deal and we had a great stay.

We'd be happy to come back next year, as we do every year. The clean rooms, lovely housekeeping staff, and delicious North Indian food keep us returning. Uma, Bindu, and Saradha were especially kind and made our stay lovely. Manager Jagadish introduced himself and asked how things were going, and bell-boy Kismesh was friendly and attentive. Sorry if we've got any names spelled wrong. A couple of things could be better. The extra beds would be easier to use and move if they had raised frames with wheels. For dinner, we'd love a South Indian spread as an option. The South Indian vegetarian thali at lunch still needs work, though it was only recently introduced, so we understand it may not be at its best yet.

The complimentary breakfast in the morning was good, and the service was excellent. We stayed overnight at Alexander lux hotel. The room was clean and well maintained, and the bathroom was quite neat. Highly recommended for a stay in Ananthapuram.

I had told the hotel a day ahead that I needed a single room and would arrive early the next morning, but check-in was horrible. Rajesh Reddy gave me a twin-sharing room. When I asked why my prior message hadn't been followed, he said, “Don’t create a ruckus here—either take it or leave it.” His behavior was extremely rude. I was also made to pay before check-in, even though I was from a well-known corporate firm with a history of frequent stays there. Why ask a corporate customer to pay on arrival? Staff should at least treat customers with dignity and respect, especially when a late arrival was arranged in advance. The experience was pathetic and very unfriendly toward corporate customers. Be careful with late check-ins. It didn't feel safe. The staff seemed to take advantage of guests being helpless at that hour and behave however they wanted.
