Henmil Anjuna

The owner was friendly and sensible, and the place itself is lovely and cozy. There's plenty of parking, and Famous Anjuna beach is an easy walk away. Shops, restaurants, and the market are also conveniently close. I'd recommend it to visitors.

The hosts were really kind and accommodating. The rooms were clean, nice, and spacious.

The owner was exceptionally friendly and helpful. I had a lot of trouble arranging a taxi, and he helped me book one. He also brought us a little kettle when we asked, which was a nice touch. We spent five nights here with my partner. The rooms were spacious, with a fridge and a table that was handy for using my laptop. Wi-Fi was fast, over 50 Mb, and mostly reliable, though it dropped briefly a couple of times. The one drawback was the double beds: they were two twin beds pushed together, each with its own sheet. A shared sheet would have been better. We kept forgetting to ask, so maybe that could have been arranged.

There are cafes, bars, restaurants, shops, and street food nearby, and the property felt like a safe place to stay. The rooms were clean and well kept, and the caretakers made an effort to tidy them while we were out. Mr and Mrs Henry were warm and welcoming, checked in on us, and offered advice about which nearby places were safe to visit. We also really liked the staff. I'd recommend it.
