Nexstay Aromiaa Villas - Baga

The pool was basic, and there wasn't really anything at the property to enjoy. The rooms had small queen-size beds with very uncomfortable mattresses. The room we got hadn't been cleaned before we arrived, the toiletries had already been used, the bathtub was broken, and the phone didn't work. We were shown three rooms and chose the one that seemed okay, since we had no real choice. The place looked nothing like the pictures: just ordinary row houses turned into accommodation, with no real holiday feel or effort put into the interiors. We booked based on the reviews and were very disappointed. No vacation vibe at all.

The rooms were clean and seemed to be made with quality materials, and ours had a bathtub in the bathroom. Staff were cooperative and their service was awesome. There's a swimming pool too. Aromiaa villas is about 2-3 KM from Baga beach, though it's not right on the main road. Thanks to the staff, and best wishes to them.

The check-in was unpleasant and disrespectful, and hospitality needs a lot of improvement. Otherwise, the villas were spacious and nice, the pool was open, and the food tasted great with generous portions. It felt safe and was good for kids. Baga beach is about five minutes away by car, and there are lots of other restaurants nearby. This place has a lot of potential.

Farhan at reception helped me find local travel contacts and information about several places. The property was well maintained, check-in was hassle free, and staff were polite and quick whenever I needed service.
