The employees weren't helpful, and the whole experience was very, very bad.

The staff were friendly, and the rooms were spacious and clean. The food was great too. Had a nice experience.

The soundproofing stood out: noise from the nearby street, cars, and horns didn't carry into the rooms. There's also a party venue inside, and the attached Saffron Resturant can bring food right to your room. The setup made the stay feel comfortable and cosy. Hotel Ambassador Royale is a 3 Star hotel, though the experience felt almost like 5 star. It's beside the Income Tax office, Asansol, which has its own lodging area inside the protected grounds. Officials who aren't happy staying there often choose this hotel for a more luxurious stay, and it's a first choice for many people visiting Asansol. From the first visit, the welcome feels heartfelt. The first word that comes to mind is “WOW”.

The room keys were missing, which left my family feeling unsafe. I was also refused a bill or receipt for the ₹5,800 I paid for two rooms for one night, ₹2,900 each. These were rooms for guests visiting for my brother's wedding, and the stay spoiled the occasion. The receptionist told me the rooms had no keys. That's a basic security concern, and refusing a receipt also raised serious concerns for me. For the same price, there are other hotels and residences in the area that offer better value and basic security and professionalism. I strongly advise looking elsewhere. This place felt like a rip-off and a safety hazard.
