The Blackbuck Ashwem

I stayed at the BLACK BUCK Ashwem for three days with colleagues. It worked very well for business, with proper desks and chairs, table lamps, and small refrigerators in our rooms. I appreciated those facilities. The staff were nice, coordinated by Seemi (the cordinator), and the hotel is near ashwem beach in goa. It's a good place, and I'd consider returning if I get the chance to visit Goa again.

We had a relaxing stay at The Blackbuck Ashwem, with a nice atmosphere and friendly, helpful staff. A little more attentiveness would have made the service perfect. The rooms felt spacious, clean, and had a good vibe. It's close to the beach but peaceful enough to unwind, especially for a laid-back getaway with friends. Worth a visit if you're after a calm, cozy spot in Ashwem.

We booked eight rooms for a couple of days last week and had a very good stay. The common pool area was always clean, and the tidy rooms had beds, working lights, fans, mini fridges, and AC. Staff were friendly and attentive to our needs. Breakfast was freshly made and served with tea and coffee. Options included bread omelet, poha, and paratha. For lunch we had prawns curry and paneer sabji with parothas, chapatis, rice, daal, and pickle. Good value for a budget stay.

Our group had a miserable stay. The property felt poorly maintained, unhygienic, and unsafe, and the experience wasn't worth the money or stress. Several rooms smelled foul and musty from check-in, as if they hadn't been cleaned or aired properly. Some AC units didn't work, making it very hard to sleep in the humidity, and staff showed no urgency about fixing them. A live electric wire was just a few centimetres from our balcony. When it rained, the grounds turned muddy, with no proper paths or drainage, and piles of sand and construction debris were scattered around. There was no power backup, even though electricity went out multiple times, leaving us without lights, fans, or AC. Rain brought mud into the rooms, which weren't cleaned during the day. Wet towels weren't replaced and there were no dustbins. The kitchen was filthy, with old, stained crockery. Food was late despite advance requests, and hospitality was very poor. The beach was at least a 20-minute walk away, despite how close the property was advertised as being. Getting a cab was also very difficult. After we complained multiple times, management remained unresponsive and indifferent. The rooms smelled bad, AC was broken, there was no cleaning, the surroundings were unsafe, and the kitchen was dirty. This place isn't fit for guests and should be avoided. I'd have given ZERO stars if that were an option.
