Sterling Athirappilly

The property by the Chalakudy River has breathtaking views, and we loved the peaceful moments beside the water. From the third-floor infinity pool, you can see Athirapally Falls, and spending time there with that view was unforgettable. We had two wonderful days at Sterling Athirapally, thanks especially to the warm hospitality from the moment we arrived. The Waterfront was excellent too. Every dish we tried was delicious and authentic, so we never had to worry about food. Prajod, the restaurant in-charge, and attendee Anugraha were thoughtful and attentive. They helped us choose dishes and suggested good options for our child, making every meal easy and enjoyable. A lovely mix of comfort, nature, and friendly service. We’d happily come back.

The location was fantastic for taking photos and experiencing the area. We found good variety at breakfast, and the restaurant staff were very hospitable. Anu was especially helpful and made sure breakfast went well for us. The rooms were clean and well maintained, the hotel staff polite and very helpful, and everything met our expectations.

Anugraha from the restaurant team deserves a special mention. She was courteous and attentive, always serving us with a warm smile. Her prompt, thoughtful hospitality made dining really enjoyable. The Sterling Holidays property was well maintained, the rooms comfortable, and the atmosphere relaxing and family-friendly. Thanks to the whole team for a memorable stay. Looking forward to visiting again!

The biggest drawback for us was the cable TV package. Popular channels like Zee T.V., Sony T.V., and Colors T.V. were paid extras, which felt unfair after paying over Rs. 9000 per night. Even if they cost an extra Rs. 20 per month, guests should have the option to watch them. We visited the Athirapally Sterling Resort at the end of May, when the Chalakudy River was low enough that we could see the riverbed in places. The resort sits on its banks, and the restaurant overlooks them. I imagine a monsoon visit through December would be fantastic, when the river is in full flow. The small infinity pool on the terrace also overlooks the river and Athirapally Falls. The reception team, led by Mrs.Parishmita and Mohd.Sinan, took personal care of our family of four senior citizens. Mrs.Parishmita even collected our Aadhar details on WhatsApp the day before, which made check-in smooth. Breakfast had a wide selection but was less spicy than we prefer. Ms.Anugraha and the restaurant staff were supportive with our food needs. When she heard we had a long drive back, she suggested taking food along and kindly packed Parota and Pickles for us.
