Hotel Shree Maya by OYO Rooms

The rooms at FabHotel Shree Maya felt very old and had a constant unpleasant smell. There wasn't even a water bottle in the room, and the TV was useless without a remote. Hot water wasn't working at all. We felt misled by the online reviews and photos, which didn't reflect what we found. We trusted the FabHotel name, but this property was far below the brand's usual standards. I wouldn't recommend staying here. The experience was extremely disappointing, and we felt cheated by the misleading information online.

Good service and a nice room with a spacious bathroom. It was a good stay for family or friends.

The staff were incredibly helpful with everything we asked for, including finding a welding mechanic, a bike wash and room service food. The room itself was simple, effective and cheap. It's a short walk to some shops and food stalls, and the location felt safe. The hotel was unkept and had a lot of dirt and dust, so it needs more attention to cleaning. The shower had hot water, but there was no kettle.

Bugs, lots of mosquitoes, no water in the toilet and smoke and cheap alcohol smells throughout the lodge made it impossible to sleep all night. The toilet seat was broken too. It didn't feel safe for families or women, as only drunkards seemed to stay there. All the photos are misleading. This is a lodge, not a hotel. The place was very dirty, the staff abusive, and the receptionist had too much attitude for such a third-class lodge. There's nothing positive about it. They will loot your money and won't let you leave the premises until payment is made. A very shady place.
