The staff were polite, but that didn’t make the stay comfortable. We spent three days at Prince Palace, and each morning the power went out just when guests needed to get ready for temple visits. When we asked, the caretaker or manager kept saying it had only happened that day, though it happened every day. We were told to wait 10-15 minutes for the generator before hot water was available. We also didn’t get a complimentary water bottle each day, and the blanket was much too thin for temperatures around 10-11°C. I understand Ayodhya is still a developing destination and hotels may not have high-profile services, but even basic mid-range expectations weren’t met. I wouldn’t recommend staying here unless the basic facilities, power and hot water reliability, and guest comfort improve significantly.

Prince Palace is the best hotel in Ayodhya. The rooms are clean, and the staff are very cooperative. It’s near the Ram temple and Saryu river. I’d recommend it to guests.
