SPOT ON 40409 Hotel Rajsangam International

The only real advantage is how close it is to the Badami caves. We booked two nights during our Badami visit, but after one night we couldn't bear to stay any longer and moved elsewhere, even though we were charged for both nights. The rooms and bathrooms were filthy, and the restaurant food seemed like it could make you sick. This is nowhere near a 3-star property, just a pathetic place. If you want a clean, peaceful stay, avoid it. I’d give it a negative rating if I could.

My stay was from 29th Dec 25 to 1st January 26, and it was a bad decision to book this hotel. The room was dirty, with a clogged toilet and basin, and there was no hygiene. The few staff members available didn't seem to care about customer service. Breakfast choices and service were horrible, and the hotel and its service felt third-rate. There weren't enough staff, either. I'll definitely raise the issue with the hotel owner. I’d rate the stay 0/5.

The rooms were clean and neat, and parking is plentiful. The staff were polite and very helpful. The breakfast was okay, though the taste could be better. Lighting in the room was low. Opening the curtains didn't help much, since the window glass was transparent. They told us they were renovating the rooms with white lights.

The one real plus is the location near Badami Caves. The interiors are below average for the price, the toilets are dirty and poorly kept, and the exterior is in very poor shape. Breakfast was a pathetic spread of Upma, Poha, dry idlis, and some bread with jam, with no doses or puri subji. The restaurant doesn't start operating until after 8 am, so there's no early tea or coffee, which is frustrating. The 2 pm check-in and 12 noon check-out timing doesn't make the tariff worthwhile. Not recommended, since there are other options.
