Our travel agent offered Villa Fathima or Twin Fountains Hotel, and I regret that we picked Twin Fountains. We were given a room on the third floor in very poor condition. The tap was broken, there wasn't a proper shower, and the closet had no hand shower, which was very inconvenient. There were visible stains on the bed, making the room feel unhygienic and uncomfortable. Being close to Baga Beach is the one advantage. I can't speak for the other rooms, but from our experience, I'd suggest reconsidering if you're choosing this hotel yourself. You might regret it.

Baga beach is within walking distance, which is about the only good thing here. On check-in day I found three cockroaches in my room, and the sheets were stained. The dining area was terrible, with rusty chairs that looked ancient, poor waste management, and a constant faint garbage smell. There's no wifi outside the reception area. To me, it felt like a lodge in a building that looks attractive but is badly maintained.

We checked out soon after arriving because the room was in unacceptable shape. It was dusty and dirty, with visible stains and bugs, and basic hygiene was missing. We couldn't stay there. A very disappointing experience, and I wouldn't recommend it.

The food was average, though there are plenty of good restaurants nearby. The hotel is a convenient distance from Baga beach, but parking is limited and that's a problem. Despite the heritage look, our room and the surrounding areas were cleaner than average, and we enjoyed the swimming pool.

Baga beach is an easy walk from the hotel, and there are lots of shops nearby. The rooms were clean and neat, though the bathrooms weren't. It was budget friendly and felt safe for women.
