We booked 2 rooms for 1 night at a bargain price, and breakfast had plenty of options. The reception staff were friendly and courteous. Breakfast wasn’t a buffet, everything was freshly made, which we liked. They welcomed us with a tasty sharbat made from buransh, a flower found extensively here. They also sell bottles of the sharbat for anyone interested. The rooms were huge, with balconies overlooking the Himalayas. We kept stopping to admire the surreal view from outside or through the windows. The beds were cozy and comfortable.

A peaceful place to stay with a panoramic view of the Himalayas. The balcony view was awesome, the rooms very clean, and the food nice. Welcoming staff and great service from everyone. You can go with it.

The peaceful setting at Uttarakhand Resort, Kausani is great for relaxing among nature, and I’d love to come back. Its biggest draw is the breathtaking panoramic view of the Himalayas, with snow clad peaks visible from the room when you wake up. The welcome was warm and the hospitality made us comfortable. We especially loved the authentic Kumaoni thali, delicious and a real taste of the local cuisine. Highly recommended for a serene getaway or a nature loving trip.

The room gives you a view of the Himalayas right from bed, and that makes the stay feel special. For the location and scenery, it’s totally paisa vasool. My only complaint is the food: it’s a bit expensive, and the quality doesn’t always match the price. Some dishes taste good, others aren’t up to the mark. A little improvement in the food would make this place perfect.

The only downside is the food. But the view from the room is amazing, with the Himalayas visible right from bed, which makes the stay special. For the location and view, it’s totally paisa vasool.
