Hotel Manasa Inn

The location is good, only a few meters from the chowk, and the beds are comfortable. Rooms were clean, and they have WiFi. Pricing is quite strict, but fair enough, neither especially low nor high. Parking is outside on the road, since the hotel has no personal parking and uses the road.

During my five-day stay, the room was never cleaned and the bedsheets weren't changed once. Hygiene was ignored, and the room felt dirty and neglected the whole time. The washrooms were in terrible condition, with broken window glass that seemed unsafe and damaged toilet seats left unusable. The air-conditioning barely worked, and only the fans at positions 1 and 5 worked properly. In the hot weather, that made things especially frustrating. The facilities were disappointing from check-in onward. For what I paid, I expected basic cleanliness and working amenities, but didn't get them. It was one of my worst stays, and I can't recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable place.

The head shower didn't work, the hot water was only lukewarm, and the washrooms were unhygienic. The rooms were shabby, dimly lit, and had no fresh air circulation. They didn't clean the washroom when I asked, change the sheets, or provide soap and shampoo. They give one free bottle per day, but charged full branded-water prices for local water, so I had to buy branded water outside. I've seen several one-star reviews and comments about basic hygiene, but the place still hasn't been maintained. Owner, please don't reply with another promise to improve. I don't want fake promises. I'm leaving as soon as I can. This was the worst experience of my life, and I don't recommend it.
