Hotel Sarang Intercontinental

From 20th May 2026 onwards, there was no effective air conditioning during the day. The front desk lady’s behavior and the hotel’s excuse about this weren’t appropriate. In temperatures reaching 42degree, the genset wasn’t working either. It’s a good property, but poorly managed by unskilled, untrained staff, and it felt more like a lodge. I cancelled my booking after being told there’d be no AC in the daytime.

The staff were polite and helpful, and both the food and the clean, comfortable rooms made for a great experience. Everything was perfect. Highly recommended!

The manager (madam) behaved very badly. We sat for 30 minutes with no one coming to take our order. When I complained, they told us to go place it at the counter. A staff member even said it was no problem if I left a bad review. The food wasn’t good either. One staff member was the exception, the rest were pathetic.

The food was good, and the property seems nicely planned. Even while wedding functions were going on, there was barely any noise in the rooms.
