There are no fans in the rooms, so the only option is AC, and the units don't work properly. In the heat, staying here becomes torture. The washroom badly needs maintenance, with everything broken and dirty. At reception they offer the worst room and ask for more money on top of what you paid in the app. If you don't argue, they put you in a tiny room that feels suffocating. Whatever the problem, they give the same answer: "All rooms are filled and this is the only one left."

The room hadn't been cleaned and the sheets were covered in spots. The washroom smelled like a public toilet. I was also charged extra at check-in. There were no TV channels because it hadn't been recharged. OYO called this its premium property, so I can only imagine what the economy rooms are like.

I had to stay three nights because of an unavoidable situation, and ended up trying five rooms. Every one was awful. The sheets had blood spots, possibly from bed bugs or a previous guest, and the rooms reeked of cigarettes. Turning on the AC meant choking on dust and smoke; when I asked for a room change or for it to be cleaned, they wouldn't help. The corridors were dim, and the food was tasteless. A tea took nearly an hour and cost Rs.50 each. The bathrooms were in terrible shape too. Many shower heads had holes in the front that sprayed water there instead of through the shower outlets. Toilets and sinks were yellowed, and housekeeping wouldn't agree to clean them. There was no shower gel, shampoo, or even soap, and using the towels felt like a risk. The receptionist seemed more interested in online games than helping guests, and payment was all they cared about, preferably in cash. This place is nowhere near hotel standards. It was the worst room I've ever stayed in.

The location would work well for me because it's close to my office, and I travel from my town to the city every month. I'd be happy to stay here if the place improved. We can pay for decent accommodation. At a minimum, the room should be clean, and the bathrooms and AC should be in working order. That's not much to ask. When I booked through OYO, the price was Rs.600, but at check-in the management took another Rs.400, something I saw happening to other guests too. The place wasn't tidy, the sheets had stains, and the AC stopped working on the second day. The bathroom was somewhat clean, but waiting for a bucket to fill took ages. There was a small table and chair that weren't really usable, plus a little closet and not much else. After the owner's reply, I still didn't see any mention of improving cleanliness or hygiene.
