Classic Rooms MG Road

For 850 rupees, this was a decent place to stay, and the rooms worked well for a night or two. It’s between MG road and Brigade Road, surrounded by lively spots. If you’re visiting Bangalore and want to go pub hopping on a budget, it’s a handy choice. The MG road metro station is very close, and the hotel is easy to find.

The room isn’t worth 1500 rupees, maybe 600 at most. Bedsheets were dirty, the towel was stained, there were no tissue rolls in the bathroom, and housekeeping didn’t come. Cockroaches were roaming around too. The complimentary breakfast was just one piece of toast and tea. The lift is unreliable as well, and sometimes won’t open on the third floor. Goibibo certifies this hotel, but don’t rely on that or the pictures to mean the rooms are clean.

The place smelled mouldy and stuffy, like there was no air, and the staff were horrible. It’s old and run down, with very old bedsheets and duvet that looked brown instead of white. I couldn’t last more than 30 minutes. I’d booked and paid online through goibibo, so I lost the money for 2n8ghts, then checked into a better hotel at HBR layout. Please don’t waste your money here.

A good place to stay for bachelors, in a very commercial area for shopping. Google Map shows the wrong location, so please follow goibibo instead.
