I’d already paid the full amount through booking.com, but when I arrived at night with the confirmation, the receptionist refused the booking and wouldn’t let me in. I had to wander around looking for somewhere else, and luckily found a non-scam hotel within walking distance. I’ve seen other reviews describing similar experiences, so this seems very likely to be a scam. Pick FabHotel The BTM Palace if you’re willing to lose your money, time, and peace of mind.
The BTM location is the one good thing here. Inside, the room was filthy, and the sinks and toilets were disgusting. Switches and lamps were broken too. The photos and high ratings online are completely misleading or fake. Avoid it, since the real place doesn’t match its online profile.
Getting an uber or rapido was easy, and the staff were nice to me 😊😊. The rooms are maybe 5/10, though. There was just a small soap, no toiletries, and the bed lamps were broken. The switchboards sparked, and the AC looked like a DIY fix. The sheets and blankets were disgusting 🫣😑. I was scared the fabric might build up static from my body and spark in the blanket.
There were no lights in the staircase or corridor, and the place looked shady. They accept bookings online, but when you arrive they may still say there’s no room. The receptionist just sat there saying that and didn’t seem to care about anything else. Glad I didn’t check into this nasty place. Avoid it.
The breakfast was really bad, there’s no proper car parking, and nothing seemed clean. There were lots of bed bugs and everything was broken. Don’t book this place.
