FabHotel Happy Home Stay

We stayed four nights, and the same sheets were on the bed the whole time. When I asked, they said the laundry staff hadn't come. The Wi-Fi also didn't work, and nobody seemed interested in checking or fixing it. Goibibo listed an in-house restaurant, but once we arrived we were told there was no food service and we'd have to order from outside. When we did, we asked for plates and spoons. They gave us some at first, then said they wouldn't provide more and told us to wash the plates ourselves and put them back. A very poor place to stay.

The terrace has a lovely city view, and the rooms are clean and well kept. It's reasonably priced, especially if you're visiting Manipal Hospital, which is just a three-minute walk away. Would be even better if they had irons and laundry service on every floor. A good choice for families coming for medical trips.

No problems during my four nights here. The bed was comfortable and the place was neat for the reasonable price. Staff were courteous and cleaned the room daily. They also let me stay two hours past checkout when I asked. The street is peaceful. Getting an auto is the tricky part, though cabs are available, and I think that may be a general issue around here.

The location is a little way in from the main road. Inside, the room was clean, with a comfortable bed, though it was about an inch too short for someone who's 5' 11". They also supplied drinking water, soap, toothpaste, and shampoo.
